Ride to End ALZ is a premeir cycling fundraising event that supports research targeting Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
I created many Ride graphics including a redesign of the Ride to End ALZ microsite, social graphics, and a t-shirt design.
I started by sketching ideas in my sketchbook before moving into Figma to create the mockups.
I made sure the site worked across desktop, tablet, and mobile, helped choose the photography and videos, and designed all of the custom icons used throughout the site.
I partnered with the Ride to End Alzheimer's team, digital strategy, copywriters, and developers to redesign the Ride to End Alzheimer's microsite.
The goals were to improve usability and align the microsite with the Ride to End Alzheimer's evolving visual identity.
I created a wide range of social graphics to support the Ride to End Alzheimer's campaign throughout the year. These included participant fundraising kits, seasonal campaigns, event promotion, and community recognition, helping riders stay engaged before, during, and after Ride events.
I also had the opportunity to participate in the Ride to End Alzheimer's Classic and later registered for Ride to End Alzheimer's Colorado.
To support my fundraising efforts, I created an After Effects video documenting a personal challenge to swim seven miles—the equivalent of one mile for every million Americans living with Alzheimer's.
The video combined original footage, captions, and Ride to End Alzheimer's branded graphics to raise awareness and encourage donations.
The Ride to End Alzheimer's team requested concepts for an event T-shirt.
Rather than relying on traditional cycling imagery, I extended the campaign's established visual language by incorporating the slanted graphic motifs used throughout the website and social campaign.
I also created an original illustration based on one of the Ride participants and applied the design to a mockup to visualize the final product.
